If the charger has no output, you can judge the fault according to the light of the power indicator.

The electric car charger maintenance is divided into two situations, if the electric car power indicator is not bright, it indicates that the charger input open circuit or switching circuit can not work.


If the power indicator light is normal, and the charging indicator light is not bright or the charging indicator light does not change color when connecting the battery, it indicates that the high-voltage part of the switching circuit is working, and the fault occurs in the low-voltage rectifier and charging output part.


Cause one: The fuse is blown


Due to the mains voltage rise caused by the fuse is rarely, most of the charger is caused by overcurrent. Corresponding to this situation, after changing the safety tube of the same specification, the charger must be powered by the "safe power supply method", and while gradually increasing the input voltage, pay attention to whether there is a jump in the charger and too high temperature. There are many cases of fuse breakage due to internal reasons of the charger: due to burst or failure of the high-voltage filter capacitor, short-circuit failure of the high-voltage rectifier diode, short-circuit of the switch chip or short-circuit point on the circuit board.


Cause two: High voltage rectifier diode failure

Cause three: The high-voltage filter capacitor fails

Because the filter capacitor works in a high voltage state, if the quality of the component is not good, or the internal heat dissipation of the charger is not good, it is easy to cause the electrolyte of the electrolytic capacitor to dry out and fail.


Cause four: The switch tube breakdown

Cause five: Schottky rectifier diode open or short circuit

Cause six: The switch control chip fails


Replacement of components determined to be damaged: for suspected components that have not yet been determined, replace the components after further determining the damaged components by replacing them.
